James has a First Class Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Management. He is a Chartered Engineer and was a MIBIM and MIProdE. Having completed a Rolls Royce Graduate Apprenticeship and worked in a number of Production/Accounting Departments and Management of various Work Centres, James moved into the Motor trade and has spent over 30 years in all aspects.
From Foreman to Accountant, Bodyshop Manager to Parts Manager and Sales and Fleet sales.. He has run successfully a number of Dealerships in Car, Light Van and Heavy CommercialOperations. With Franchises Austin/Morris, Triumph, Ford, FIAT, Lancia, Rover, Unipart, Land Rover, Mazda, Kia, Jaguar and Volvo. Finally as Volvo Group Managing Director for Pendragon James ran eleven major Dealerships with a Group Turnover of over 100 million Pounds. During this time James brought his experience to grow the businesses and develop them through great Customer Satisfaction.
James is also a Project Director with The Pacific Institute. He Facilitates programmes in Cognitive Psychology which help Individuals, Teams, and Organisations improve their performance. His clients have included a number of small Companies, a Major Dealership group centred around Bangkok and Black Horse Finance.
Although James has worked at the highest levels in the industry he leads from the front and will always be found at the sharp end of his businesses in Sales, Service, Parts and Accounts. |

Stefan started in the car business when he was eighteen years old, initially
in London and then in the Canadian car market for 10 years based in Vancouver.
Stefan returned to the UK in 1994 and very quickly rose through the ranks of
Pendragon PLC ( UK's biggest car dealer group) running the UK's biggest Volvo
and Mazda dealerships.
Stefan has won the Motor Trader Sales Manager of the Year award for Southern
England in 1995 and 1996. Stefan was also Group Sales Trainer for the Pendragon
group as well as Dealer Principal for a number of their franchises. Stefan
left Pendragon in 1998 to set up MKG 3000 with his colleague James Maxfield.
Since 1998 Stefan has also presented ITV 2 'Dealer's Choice' program as a resident
expert, and has also written a regular column for the Dimbleby Press group
as a Motoring Journalist.
A keen skier and fisherman, Stefan lives locally in Teddington with his Wife
Angie and their three sons. Daniel 13, Jack 11 and Adam 9. |
